Hitting the Slopes 

Last week, Everett and four other male members of his family went on a short skiing trip. They left on Wednesday and hit the slops early Thursday morning. Everett, his brother Norman, his brother John, his son Shane, and his nephew, Scott, would have had a great time if each had not received a minor injury of some sort. 

Each person received an injury on a different day - Thursday through Monday, to a different part of his body - ankle, elbow, knee, shoulder, or wrist. 

Each day, the group (which consisted of one or more, depending on whom dropped out due to an injury and did not ski the rest of the ski trip) skied on the same ski run, although they skied on a different run each day. 

From the clues, determine on which day they skied a particular ski run, the person who sustained an injury on each day, the part of the body where each injury occurred. 

1. The five skiers are John, the person who injured shoulder, the person who injured his ankle, the person who received his injury on Friday, and the person who received his injury the day family members skied Fools Fall. 

2. It wasnt on Sunday that a family member received an injury while skiing Lightening Trail. 

3. Everett isnt the one who hurt his elbow, and the one who hurt his elbow did so sometime earlier during their skiing vacation than did Scott. 

4. Shane isnt the one who banged up his knee on Saturday. 

5. On three consecutive days, in order, Norman received an injury, the skiing sloop was Zigzag Chute, and one person injured his elbow. 

6. The person who received an injury while skiing on Devils Run did so the day just before the person who injured his wrist. 

7. John wasnt among those who skied the day Shane received his injury as he was nursing his own injury in the warmth of the ski lodge. 

8. Of the family members, only one tackled Donovans Drop, and that was not the family member who ended up injuring his shoulder.
